Since the Skype for the Apple iPhone app went live on the Apple iTunes App Store on Tuesday it has been downloaded more than one million times according to a report by Intomobile.
That’s quite a feat as apparently when transposed against time it works out at roughly six downloads per second, and no doubt that 1 million number will continue to grow over the coming days.
It would be interesting to know what holds the record for the fastest downloaded Apple iPhone app, and I’m sure the Skype for iPhone app must be somewhere among the top if not number one, but if anyone can come up with that piece of info drop us a comment.
