As of yesterday, Bluetooth has changed as SIG has now gone official with the latest Bluetooth, Bluetooth 3.0+High Speed delivering a new era of Bluetooth data transfer at 24Mps.
With the arrival of Bluetooth 3.0 +High Speed, such devices as smartphones will be able to quickly pair with other Bluetooth enabled devices, and if paired device is WiFi equipped, Bluetooth 3.0 +HS will deliver high speed data transfer of large files.
If a paired device isn’t WiFi enabled then data transfer reverts back to the normal Bluetooth. Bluetooth 3.0 +HS is also backwards compatible with Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR
