iPhone OS 3.0 previewed and App Store changes

Under: Apple iPhone, Phone Software
Date: May 18th, 2009

At Apple’s event today, the iPhone 3.0 firmware was previewed and Apple also introduced some features which should have been there from the beginning; however we also learn that it is all about the Apple iTunes App Store, according to product-reviews.

Apparently Apple’s new App Store Business Models will be changing the way iPhoners purchase and use applications. Try thinking of this, purchasing additional game levels, magazine subscriptions, eBooks, and much more besides.

If people judged the Apple iPhone on its range and abilities of applications alone then the iPhone would win any contest without problem, but the iPhone needs more and this is where the Palm Pre may take a slice of market share.

It is whispered that iPhone 3.0 firmware will be released in the summer; however no exact date has been revealed as yet.
