Here in the UK, O2 can grab their iPhone 3G S as of 8:02AM from O2, Carphone Warehouse and Apple stores. Canada on the other hand can gain their iPhone 3G S from Rogers and Fido as of about 8:00AM local time.

As for the United States, if you pre-ordered you can get the iPhone 3G S at 7:00AM from AT&T outlets, and if you purchase from an Apple store, their stores are opening at 7:00AM local time.
