Nokia 5530 XpressMusic: Is it better than the 5800?

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is now with the FCC according to an article over on engadget mobile, and they had hoped they’d see a Nokia 5530 XpressMusic sporting 3G but apparently it doesn’t.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic does look a better handset than the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, but only tops out at EDGE for the WWAN and thus relies on WiFi for heavy data.

Unfortunately Nokia has seen fit to let the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic come through in a less attractive black and red combination and will probably carry a cheap retail price tag.

So readers what is your view, is the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic better than the 5800?

No, i think the nokia 5800 is better, it has a bigger screen and the 3g is good and i use it a lot so i wouldnt be doing without that, i think the nokia 5800 looks sleeker and the 5530 looks cheap

Yes, I think Nokia 5530 is better than Nokia 5800.

It has a better processor as compared to Nokia 5800, which is a plus point b’coz many users are re-selling Nokia 5800 because of its frequent hanging while operating the phone. 5530 has a better homescreen and design than 5800. it also has more colour options.

Not everyone requires 3G so it is a very good option for those people who want a touchscreen phone but also have a tight budget.
