Apple has worked hard to try to get the iPhone into China, and the deal with China Unicom is almost done and dusted, so much so that an image has popped up of a custom China Unicom iPhone complete with Chinese characters on its rear.
The first image of the China Unicom iPhone comes courtesy of tech.sina.com, and along with the Chinese characters the China Unicom network logo also appears.
As expected in China and one of the big demands before allowing the iPhone, WiFi will not be present in the China Unicom iPhone, and the word is China Unicom is likely to sign a 3 year exclusivity deal for the iPhone.
