

The dispute over BlackBerry maker Research In Motion and Ericsson over the sale of Nortel’s wireless assets sale to a foreign buyer has apparently been taken over by four parliamentary ministers who have triggered a hearing which could well block the sale of Canadian Nortel assets to Ericsson states the globe and mail.
On Friday, ministers are planning on questioning company and government officials on the issues of public money invested in Nortel, loss of key technology, and possible national security implications.
Ericsson’s $1.13 billion offer for a package of Nortel assets won the court approves auction on the 28th of July.
