Up until now, O2 have been avoiding actually announcing a firm release day for their launch of the Palm Pre smartphone here in the United Kingdom, all they did say is that they would have exclusivity over the Palm Pre and will launch in time for Christmas.
Well now, according to an article on t3.com, they believe a rumour going round that has it the Palm Pre will launch on O2 UK on the 30th of October.
Apparently this launch date rumour originated from O2 themselves, and specifically O2 managers who have been told the launch date ahead of Palm Pre training and planning.
