It’s been announced that Microsoft have just launched the Bing SDK for iPhone and for Mac.

The software development kits will connect their Bing search engine for both the Apple iPhone and Mac OS X platform. The company are really hoping that this move of SDK will boost the usage of Bing technologies in both of the applications on the two rival platforms.

As Microsoft Windows competes with Mac OS X while Windows Mobile competes with Apple iPhone, in the smartphone market, the company claims that the SDK will be able to provide the ability to easily query Bing from within your Cocoa or Cocoa Touch application. Also enabling you to search Bing for Web, Image, Video, Phonebook and also News results. Source – stuff.techwhack.com
