Ah the never-ending battle between Apple and Palm over the Palm Pre syncing with iTunes, which continues with the release of the new iTunes 9, and the big question is does the Palm Pre still sync with iTunes?

Well in the next strike in this seemingly ongoing confrontation according to precentral, Apple has now gained another victory by blocking iTunes 9 sync with the Palm Pre.

Whether Palm will be able to counterattack and re-enable syncing with the new iTunes 9 remains to be seen, maybe the delay in webOS 1.2 could mean Palm is planning a fix, otherwise if you have a Palm Pre that syncs with iTunes then don’t upgrade your iTunes or its goodbye sync.
