It looks like HTC is gearing up to launch yet another 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon based smartphone, the HTC Dragon reports an article over on softpedia and they have alleged images of the HTC Dragon to prove it.

The purported HTC Dragon images show that the smartphone loses the “Android chin” and features 4 buttons, menu, home, back and search which can also be found on the European HTC Hero.

Spec wise the HTC Dragon is said to pack that 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor, 480 x 800 pixel touch screen, 5 megapixel camera, Android 2.0 OS, GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS 900/1900/2100, Bluetooth, FM radio and 3.5mm jack.
