Verizon to bring Tethering to Droid next year

Apparently Verizon Wireless is to bring tethering to the new Motorola Droid next year according to an article over on gearlog, who say Verizon has told them their “Broadband Access Connect” plan enables the user to tether their mobile phone as a modem and will come to Droid in early 2010.

Now, as Verizon’s plans for the Motorola Droid command the same price as ever other Verizon smartphone plan, users should then expect that the Broadband Access Connect service will probably add another $15 to your plan.

One should always remember though that there is a 5GB per month limit with Verizon and go above that 5GB and you’ll incur some pretty hefty overage charges.
