The latest Droid handset from Verizon Wireless, the Verizon HTC Droid Eris has now been given the traditional unboxing treatment in video format which we have for you viewing pleasure below courtesy of intomobile.

First a quick spec reminder of this cheaper brother to the Motorola Droid and HTC Hero look-alike, the Droid Eris packs in a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, 3G data, WiFi, GPS, Android 1.5, Sense UI, 5 megapixel camera and microSD slot.

The HTC Droid Eris is slightly slimmer than the Motorola Droid mainly due to the lack of the slide out QWERTY and they say it sits nicely in the hand; so enough from me, hit up the video below and enjoy.
