There seems to be a limited edition of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone which apparently FutureShop put a promo for their sales personnel together that sports some ‘Team Canada’ customisation reports an article over on intomobile.

Seems like Research In Motion delivered the above limited edition BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphones to the members of the Gold medal winning Canadian Men’s Hockey Team features the customisation and name on the rear.

The FutureShop promo is for their staff and is supposed to get them to sell more Blackberry handsets, and for them to win they have to be in the top 20 in BlackBerry sales with reference on the ‘gone when gone’ devices.

Shame this cool looking limited edition Team Canada BlackBerry Bold 9700 handset isn’t available to the general Blackberry public, but given time no doubt one will appear on eBay or Craigslist at some stage.
