Windows Phone 7 series HTC HD3 rumour

Thanks to the chaps over at gadgetvenue.com for this interesting article in relation to HTC and a possible HTC HD3.

It wasn’t that long ago that we heard the disappointing news in respect of the HTC HD2 not getting a Windows Phone 7 Series upgrade. But now the rumours are flying around all over and it would seem that maybe HTC are working on a new device called the HTC HD3.

Apparently this is in direct response to Microsoft’s requirements that they need three primary buttons on the front together with a specific processor and graphical abilities.
It is expected that the HTC HD3 may come with a new Snapdragon processor that will run at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM and built by Qualcomm.

It is also rumoured that the device may be just 10mm thick and will have a 4.5 AMOLED multi touch screen, with an 8 megapixel camera. The 1GB of storage is expected to be able to be increased to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. These are of course rumours at the moment but we’ll keep you updated with any more news.

There is no need for the HTC HD2. Upgrade the damned OS via a simple download *If and when Windows 7 does become available for the HTC* This just plain makes me upset, actually, peeved is more of an appropriate word. SMH

Any phone installed with WINMO 6.5 and under, will no be eligible for upgrades. Which means, anyone who wants WINMO 7, will have to PURCHASE a brand new phone equipped with the OS already.
