Okay so it is only a rumour but a nice one at that. Thanks to a recent report from the folks over at gadgetsdna.com

There are some very strong rumours or speculation that Samsung will be releasing the much awaited tablet in the market during the second half of 2010.

It is also speculated that the device will run on Android OS and is said to be much faster and much more powerful than the much talked about Apple iPad. Samsung have chosen that the tablet will run on Windows 7 but apparently this OS has had a big impact on the speed which is why the company have moved in the direction of Android.

Sadly details have not been officially confirmed yet but is is again rumoured that the Tablet could even feature calling through a headset with 3G and 4G connectivity and an ARM based architecture. The chip being used is also unknown but has been hinted that it could be an Intel Atom CPU. We’ll have to wait and see.
