Thanks to a report over at engadget.com for this update on the much talked about Nokia N8, Symbian ^3 device.

They have been reliably informed that the Nokia N8 is about to be announced by Nokia in the middle of April.

As far as I can work out that isn’t around any major convention or trade shows but it is however just before the companies Annual General meeting which is to be held in Helsinki.

There was a picture yesterday leaked which claimed to be a Symbian ^3 based phone supposedly being the Nokia N8, of course the word announcement doesn’t mean availability not in Nokia world that is so until we have more definite or concrete news we should probably expect that the September retail launch is more realistic. sourced via engadget.com
