Samsung Wave 8500 Release in Europe Today

For all you Samsung faithful out there who are waiting to try out Samsung’s Bada operating system, the word is that the Samsung Wave becomes available across Europe as of today the 24th of May.

According to an article over on Engadget posted by Darren Murph, the Samsung Wave may not be hitting the UK with Vodafone until the 1st of June. However the Samsung release states that the device will be hitting France, Germany and the UK.

Furthermore it appears that the “complete Bada SDK 1.0.0 will be available for download shortly,” and also the Samsung Wave should hit Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, China and Southeast Asia some time soon.

Spec wise the Samsung Wave smartphone packs a 3.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, and LED flash, A8 1GHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD expansion up to 32GB, 3.5mm jack and of course the Bada operating system.
