Verizon Confirm 4G LTE Smartphone Coming from Motorola

We all know over in the states Verizon Wireless is rolling out their 4G LTE network, but a 4G LTE network isn’t much good without 4G enabled devices to surf the faster waves, and there have been rumours that Verizon will get a 4G LTE enabled device from Motorola, and is appear that has now been confirmed.

According to an article over on Intomobile by Marin Perez and by way of the Wall Street Journal, in an interview John Stratton, the COO of Verizon Wireless has said…”We’ve got LTE smartphones on the horizon. Motorola will be right there.”

Previously Motorola had said they would make 4G enabled devices for the LTE network in 2011 but have apparently declined to comment on and timing for distribution of such devices.

Having said that surely it doesn’t come as that much of a surprise that Motorola would deliver at least one 4G LTE smartphone for the Big Red considering their current partnership with such handsets as the Motorola Droid line of Android handsets.

So any of our readers have any suggestions as to what this new Motorola 4G enabled device might be called once it hits the Verizon LTE network? Motorola Droid 4G seems to be a bit obvious so what you’re your suggestions?
