Greenpois0n RC5 Untethered Jailbreak Animated Custom Boot Logo Video
Apparently the word is that the latest Greenpois0n untethered jailbreak, RC5 comes with custom boot logo support, and now video evidence of this has hit the net waves and of course we have that video for your viewing pleasure below.
The Greenpois0n iPhone boot video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Veryrite, and was posted to YouTube by Chronic Dev Team member Justin Williams and shows the iPhone 4 booting up with a animated custom boot logo support.
For those that may not be in the know, a custom boot log is what is seen on your iPhone 4 when it boots up, which is usually the Apple logo. Apparently the iPhone 4 in the video is slow due to running the ramdisk and jailbreak code.
So rather than me rattle on about the technical side I think it would be much easier if you head on down and hit the play button and check out the footage, that is of course if you haven’t already done so…enjoy.

Wikipedia says it will come out February 10th
it was just released (mac) version first then windows…in a few days.
its come out on Feb 05,2011 but only for Mac

If you look at the Wiki for all the jailbreak software from past to current, there is a new box that shows GreenPoison RC5. It used to say not available yet, however now it says a firm February 10th 2011 release date. It also has a new box that shows Rubyra1n with a possible release date of the same thing. So it appears that we have another week. Even if Rubyrain is released though they still have to implement it into the Redsnow jailbreak. If thats the case there is no reason for Redsn0w to release the 0.9.7b7 for windows because it is only for ones that have the 4.1 SHSH saved to Cydia, whereas if they use the Rubyrain then anyone with a clean 4.2.1 IOS can jailbreak, and the same goes with Greenpoison.
I have a question though, if I already have a tethered jailbreak using Redsnow 0.9.6RC8 on my Iphone 4 with IOS 4.2.1, how do I switch over to the Greenpoison? Do i need to restore in Itunes first?

The reason it took so long to boot, was that it was the actual jailbreak process you saw before it booted. That will not happen every time. It will just start on the logo like normal.
If you have a RedSn0w tethered jailbreak, you can just run the GreenPois0n over top of it, it doesn't effect anything already installed on your idevice which I thought was really sweet.
I tried that and when i reboot, i get constant reboot loops, im guna restore tonight and do a fresh jailbreak.
