Motorola Droid 3 Available, Specs & Price: Verizon Goodness

Welcome to the Verizon goodness with its new release of the Motorola Droid 3 smartphone with physical keyboard. Wonder if the heart will fibrillate with the new next generation smartphone, promising power and performance.

The Motorola Droid 3 is now available online over at Verizon Wireless for $199.99 with a new two-year customer agreement, you can also buy the smartphone on a month-to-month service for $459.99.

Verizon and Motorola once again join forces to give customers a very exciting Android handset, this is a global smartphone that is great for personal or business. Main features include: dual-core 1 GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera, 1080p HD video, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 4-inch qHD display, 5-row QWERTY keyboard, 3G Mobile Hotspot, it also comes with something called “Mirror Mode” where users can view and share photos, videos and movies on a larger TV via HDMI output (requires HDMI cable).

Unlike the iPhone, the Droid 3 by Motorola is Global ready and will work in over 200 countries, including more than 125 with 3G speeds, other features include ‘Enterprise’ ready, which includes complex password support, remote data wipe of device, SD card encryption and much more.

The Droid 3 also has a feature called “Citrix GoToMeeting” for Android; this allows users to attend online meetings while on the go, a universal software client that allows companies to deliver corporate apps.

Other cool features include: ESP smart dock technology, Front-facing camera for still shots and video chat, Video playback in 1080p HD in mirror mode and Adobe Flash Player 10.

You can visit Verizon Wireless online now and buy the Motorola Droid 3; Verizon Stores will start selling the handset come July 14. Customers must be aware that when buying the $199.99 smartphone they will need to purchase the Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and a smartphone data package, this will cost from $30 for 2GB of data.
