Could there really be a new iPad HD release? Do not mistake the new Apple iPad HD, for the iPad 3, they are both different. Apple could be releasing the new iPad HD soon, not sure when but it possibly is going to happen.

iDB by way of This is my next claims that a new iPad HD could be released this Fall, and that the new model will feature a huge 2048×1536 resolution, not if this is correct that means the screen resolution would be double that of the Apple iPad 2.

The iPad 2 sales were very impressive, and everyone has been waiting for an announcement of the iPad 3, but out of the blue the iPad HD could release first. This could be a little upsetting for those that purchased the iPad 2 recently, possibly leaving a few customers a little angered.

According to sources of this This is my next, there will be both a new iPhone and a new iPad entry this Fall, they quote “Our sources are saying that not only will there be a newly designed iPhone coming in the fall, but there is going to be a new entry into the iPad family as well. As hard as it might be to believe, the new tablet is said to sport a double resolution screen (2048 x 1536), and will be dubbed the “iPad HD.” The idea behind the product is apparently that it will be a “pro” device aimed at a higher end market – folks who work in video and photo production possibly – and will be introduced alongside something like an iPad version of Final Cut or Aperture. This product is specifically said to not be the iPad 3, rather a complimentary piece of the iPad 2 line. Think MacBook and MacBook Pro.”

The Apple iPad HD is going to be for the pro market, apparently for those that are into video and image editing. At the moment it looks like it is only the screen that will be changed on the new model, personally we see no point in the iPad HD but hey that is our opinion.
