Apple January product event, what’s expected?

Californian company Apple its been reported, will be holding an event towards the end of this month with a view to announcing a new product, of which its been claimed will be a “media related product.”

It’s difficult to not get excited with the mere mention of the Cali company holding an event, with news that not one but two possible iPads could be announced, along with a new Apple TV and that’s not forgetting that the new iPhone 5 is rumored to make an entrance in 2012.

So what information if any can we give you in relation to the pencilled in event? According to the guardian.co.uk, the event will be held in New York at the end of January, which multiple sources including AllThingsD, speculating as being the time that Apple will announce media related products such as eBooks and centring around the company’s iBookstore.

Apple’s head of internet software and services Eddy Cue will be present at the event, hence many suggesting that the event will be based around advertising and media content.

For now, we will have to wait and see, but any updates to this we will of course inform you.
