If you are a big fan of NFL and own an Android smartphone or tablet you just might like to know that an updated version of the NFL Mobile app for Android is now available and the updated version comes with Android Ice Cream Sandwich support so should now work with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

According to the guys over at Droid-life though some user are experiencing problems and that they NFL Mobile updated app still doesn’t work, however in an update apparently the updated Android app is now working for some.

Apparently one needs to remember when using the NFL Mobile app for Android the user also requires the Verizon Login app for Android as well.

There’s no word on just why only some are managing to get the updated NFL Mobile app working, so it appears the application is still experiencing some issues although you could try uninstalling the Login app and reinstall and see how it runs.

The NFL Mobile app for Android enables the user to view the latest videos, news, NFL tweets, breaking news, and scheduled games, injury reports, player pages, access to your NFL.com fantasy team along with posting comments to Facebook and Twitter.
