If you’re looking for a good all rounded mobile phone and are trying to steer away from paying a hefty price, then the Samsung Galaxy R may be the device for you. Bringing with it specs such as a 4.2-inch display, 1GHz dual-core processor, Android Gingerbread OS, 8GB of internal storage, 3G connection along with WiFi, 5MP camera along with front-facing camera and so on. For those that have the Galaxy R i9103 already, we have some news today that will certainly bring a smile to your face.

According to xda-developers.com, the Sammy device is now benefiting from a first custom ROM thanks to XDA Senior Member by the name of eaglerazor 123. As reported, the ROM is based on DKK5 with Stock Kernel and comes with a barrage of benefits such as being deodexed and zipaligned.

Other goodies include: No SMS log, added sqlite.so and sqlite ini.so from Ice Cream Sandwich, CM7 music app and DSP manager, Google Music and so on.

Eaglerazor 123 has been keen to point out that because this is the Galaxy R’s first custom ROM, bugs may be lingering so users be AWARE!
