New Galaxy Tab 2 to benefit from AllShare Play

South Korean company Samsung have produced some pretty tasty devices in the last year, be it smartphones such as the Galaxy S range or Galaxy Tab slates. In 2012, we have a lot to look forward to including the new Galaxy S3 handset and another, that of the new 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2.

One big inclusion that the new Galaxy Tab will benefit from is Android’s new Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS, something of which Samsung took by the horns allowing other rivals to follow suit.

As well as this the Galaxy Tab 2 packs 3G and WiFi, 1GHz dual-core processor, Samsung’s Music Hub which as cnet.com allows users to access over 17 million songs along with Readers Hub for getting those favourite book titles and Video Hub for film rental.

Users looking to purchase the Galaxy Tab 2 will also be interested to hear that the slate will include the AllShare Play service, allowing multimedia content to be streamed from a variation of devices to the tablet. Benefits to this also include device to cloud transfers. The UK will see the tablet first off with others following, although its price still remains a mystery.

Will you be tempted by the new Galaxy Tab 2?
