Pinterest Pin Puzzle app hands-on review
We love to do hands-on reviews, and today we will give you our take on the Pin Puzzle app for iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. We are always on the look out for cool apps that have that little flavour of addiction, please do read on and see what you think of our Pinterest Pin Puzzle app hands-on review.
Phones Review was given a promotional code to test out the new app called ‘Pin Puzzle’, we went to the App Store clicked on redeem and entered the code to install the app, our first impressions is excitement and what can this app do that will make all sit up and take notice. Pin Puzzle: The Infinite Pinterest Puzzle app looks clean and is so easy to follow, you can either enter a Pinterest username or choose one among those recently used or suggested to get the puzzle ball rolling.
OK stop babbling on “What is this app all about?” Pin Puzzle basically turns Pinterest into an addictive infinite puzzle; this is a never-ending game where players have to unscramble Pinterest photos in the right order.
Oh please will you just stop, yes we mean you app, it is very hard and cannot put our iPhone 4S down due the addictiveness, darn you Pin Puzzle. We review products and apps all the time and we are ALWAYS honest, if we do not like we will not shy away from telling you the truth. At first we thought “Oh not another boring puzzle game”, that soon turned to “Logos Quiz app was very addictive, try Pin Puzzle”.
You do not need to be a gamer to play with app, its fun and of course comes with thousands of stunning photos.
How It Works:
To start playing you can enter your Pinterest username or the one of the Pinterest user you want to use the pins of. You can also choose one of those suggested. The user’s boards will be transformed into thematic levels for the game. What you need to do is to sort out the stripes of each shredded photo puzzle of the level (each pin of the board) in a given time. Each level is progressively challenging and requires logic, dexterity and memory to be solved.
Three simple words — What, Why and Where
— What —
Pin Puzzle turns Pinterest into an infinite puzzle! The app takes photos from your boards (or anyone else’s on the service) and turns each one into a new level of a sliding puzzle game (screenshots attached).
— Why —
Because after playing with the first version of the app our girlfriends told us: this is the most addictive game we’ve ever played! Maybe because they love the images they have pinned? Or maybe because they love us 🙂
— Where —
The first version of the app was born on a bench in an airport after 8 hours of hard coding and 3 litres of Coca Cola (see attached picture).
The game comes in English and Italian and comes with an age restriction; you MUST be 17 years old to download this application. It does contain Infrequent/Mild Profanity or Crude Humour, Frequent/Intense Mature/Suggestive Themes and Infrequent/Mild Sexual Content or Nudity.
