Sony Xperia Z1 UK and Europe price details

The Sony Xperia Z1 was officially announced two days ago, although it’s still referred to by many as the Sony Honami. Whatever you choose to call it, it’s an impressive looking device and is likely to find plenty of buyers. Today we have some Sony Xperia Z1 UK and Europe price details.

If you want to check out more about the newly confirmed specs of the Sony Xperia Z1 then please head to our previous article here. At that point pricing and release details had not been given, although we told readers of a rumored September 24 release date for the UK.

Now Sony has made pre-orders available on its web store for 7 countries in Europe. Customers who order the Xperia Z1 by September 19 will receive express delivery, with the phone expecting to arrive by the end of the month.

As is often the case with smartphone launches, there will not be a uniform price across different regions. In Germany for instance the price is €649, equivalent to around $850. This is cheaper than in France, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain where pre-orders can also be placed with a price set at €699 or $916.

Swedish customers will have to pay 5,995kr /$900 while for those in the UK the price is set at £599/£932, slightly more expensive than the other regions so far. The Sony Xperia Z1 is available in black, white or purple color options.

You can see more about the phone or pre-order the Xperia Z1 at this Sony page. We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the pricing of the Xperia Z1 for Europe and the UK so do send in your comments.

Because U make more money than most EU countries so it’s more than fair that you pay more, simple as that ! You can always import it from Sweden and pay less.
