BlackBerry possibly set for another nail in coffin

#

Canadian smartphone manufacturer BlackBerry has been seeing its market share falling off a cliff in recent times despite the launch of a new operating system and hardware, and if rumours are true the company could possibly be set for another nail in the coffin.

A new report is claiming that White House staff could soon be using Android handsets from LG and Samsung, as devices from the two companies are reportedly in testing. A statement from the Defence Department said “We can confirm that the White House Communications Agency, consistent with the rest of the Department of Defence, is piloting and using a variety of mobile devices”.

The sources have also claimed that the Apple iPhone wasn’t part of these tests, but BlackBerry has been used for ages now but the platform is seeing all types of users moving away in favour for something else.
