HTC Desire 601 Android 4.4 update starts arriving
While the company has been focussing on getting its latest flagship handset out to consumers recently, it hasn’t forgotten about slightly older hardware as the HTC Desire 601 Android 4.4.2 KitKat update starts arriving to end users.
Late last year we heard that the HTC Desire 601 was on a list of handsets down to get treated to the KitKat update, and now HTC tipster LlabTooFeR has revealed on Twitter that the update has begun rolling out to owners of the handset.
The Android 4.4.2 update for the HTC Desire 601 is also bringing the HTC Sense 5.5 firmware, and has the build number of 2.14.401.6. It has to be remembered that the update will be rolled out in a staggered fashion so not all users will get it straight away.

i just got the update, and all of a sudden my phones battery is draining too quickly. i don’t know if it is the update, or something else?
Do a factory reset. If problem persists, then copy all data on SD card, format it and copy all data back.
When htc desire 600 getting the same update…??? Plzz tell me…
