Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4 update arrives at last

#

Smartphone manufacturers may release a new firmware update for certain handsets, but these can sometimes take ages to reach all end users especially ones on certain carriers. Today we have the welcome news that the Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 KitKat update arrives at last.

It is being reported that the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Android 4.4.2 update has finally gone live, and the new firmware is available via the carriers Software Upgrade Assistant, or via the Samsung KIES desktop application.

Users are advised to connect their handset to their PC via KIES or using the Verizon tool, but the carrier has yet to put up a full changelog or confirm its availability. In the coming few days the update is expected to go over the air, and could still take a few days to reach all owners.

Have you got the update yet?

Got mine today and went smoothly OTA. Tried connecting to the PC last night and used Kies and the Verizon web site and noting also. Don’t see any major change… yet.

Hello folks. I tried using KIES to upgrade the Firmware on my Note 3 SM-N900 but the issue is I am unable to get pass the Agreement window. I can’t get/scroll down to the button to save or confirm the Agreement that I checked off. So the upgrade cannot begin. I am using a NetBook Acer Aspire One. Not sure if that’s the problem but there should be an options to scroll down to access the entire Agreement form. Any feedback on the issue will be appreciated..
