Samsung releasing the Galaxy Note Edge Premium Edition for Germany

#

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge isn’t widely available yet, and it may be some time before it reaches certain parts of the globe. If you live in Germany, it looks like you’ll get a jump on things as the Galaxy Note Edge Premium Edition can be yours for only €899.

We usually groan when we hear the word “Premium” mentioned with a handset, but Samsung is doing things differently with the Galaxy Note Edge Premium Edition. The device will ship with a display cleaner, a 64GB fast EVO micro SD card, and a Flip Wallet cover. You’ll also get a book with tips & tricks, a 3-year warranty, and a chance to dine during Samsung Experience Day at Sammy’s German headquarters. The first 500 buyers will be entered into a raffle for Experience Day, and there are only 20 seats available.

If you think the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Premium Edition has a Snapdragon 810 or any new hardware, we’re sorry to say that isn’t the case. The Premium moniker seems to apply to the extra goodies as the device itself is the same Edge most of us will see. That’s definitely not a bad thing considering the Note Edge has that slick 5.6-inch QHD display with a bit of a curve, a Snapdragon 805, 3GB of RAM, and a 16MP/3.7MP camera combo.

While €899 is a lot to shell out for a “Premium” device, the Galaxy Note Edge Premium Edition lives up to the name and is by far the most interesting smartphone around in terms of design. Would you be interested in a Premium edition of the Note Edge if Samsung tried the promo in your neck of the woods?
