If you reside in the West, you may not be familiar with Intex, but they’ve been cranking out tech since the 90s. They have put a lot of smartphones into consumers’ pockets in India, and they’ve just launched a new one dubbed the Intex Cloud M6.

The Intex Cloud M6 falls into the “budget” category or smartphones as it has mid-range specs and a low price tab. The handset sports a 5-inch panel with a resolution of 480 x 854, and gets its pop from a quad-core Spreadtrum chip clocked at 1.2GHz. The storage capacity is listed at 8GB, and you’ll get 1.35GB of RAM to help push things along.

On the backside of the Intex Cloud M6, you’ll find a 8MP snapper with an LED flash while the front houses a respectable 5MP sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, and Dual-SIM compatibility. The Intex Cloud M6 will get its power from a 2,000mAh battery, and is listed as running Android 4.4.2 out of the box.

The Intex Cloud M6 price in India is Rs. 5,699. The handset is currently listed at Flipkart in Black, and should be up for sale soon if you’re interested in picking one up.
