New Channel 4 TV show sponsored by Nokia

Channel 4 and Nokia have formed a deal where Nokia will sponsor a new show from Channel 4 called The Nokia Green Room. This deal has been designed to publicise how Nokia focuses on music following Nokia’s release of its Music Store program, as well a music orientated MP3 handsets much like the Nokia N82.

The Nokia Green Room, a 30 minute show will air twice weekend mornings on T4, and again late night on 4Music, and is scheduled to run for a fifteen week slot beginning in April. The Green Room is a specially created backstage area that has been rigged with secret remote cameras and mics which records the interaction between various music acts as they await their own live performance time.

The Nokia Green Room, co-funded by Channel 4 and Nokia had its pilot showing on Channel 4 last year and drew in 600,000 viewers with featured acts such as Orson, The Feeling, and Girls Aloud.
