Canadian Olympic Team Samsung m530 available from Bell Mobility

With the Beijing Olympics looming, Samsung, in partnership with Bell Mobility have released the new Samsung m530 Canadian Olympic Team Edition mobile phone. There has been chatter about the release of this new Samsung handset since last month and is now become a reality.

Users of the Samsung m530 handset will find they are able to watch live coverage of the Beijing 2008 Olympics being held between the 8th and 24th of August.

Also with using the Samsung m530 handset the user will find they have access to Canada’s medal standings during the sports event. This Special Edition mobile phone will sport the Canadian Olympic Team logo on its casing and incorporate Olympic wallpaper.

The Samsung m530 Canadian Olympic Team Edition mobile phone packs a 2.1 internal TFT screen with 256k colours, while the external CSTN display has 65k colours, Windows Live Messenger, external music dedicated keys, full track downloads, GPS with turn-by-turn directions, SIRIUS Satellite radio, Bluetooth 1.1 with A2DP, voice dialling, MMS, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video, speakerphone, 50MB of internal memory and the good old microSD card support for up to 4GB.

The Samsung m530 will be selling for $49.95 with a 3 year contract while those on a 2 year contract will pay $124.95 and 1 year contract $249.95. For non-contract the Samsung m530 will cost $299.95
