Sonim XP3 toughest phone in world heads for the US

The Sonim XP3 is probably as indestructible as a mobile phone can get. Sonim’s European phones have been dropped from thirteen story buildings and shot with guns to test their ruggedness, and the Sonim’s rugged GSM mobile phones just keep on working.

And now the Californian based company is finally bringing their rugged mobile phones to the US, the first of which will be the Sonim XP3 and becomes available next March.

The Sonim XP3 US version will be quad-band EDGE/GSM with GPRS, flashlight mode, Bluetooth, 3 megapixel camera with geo-tagging, glare resistant 128 x 160 colour screen and comes with a three year no questions asked guarantee.

Ahhhhh I want one! I saw the videos on their website and that stuff is seriously cool. I’m into all sorts of extreme sports and no phone survives my lifestyle for longer than a few months. I’d much rather pay more for one phone that lasts me longer than many that break all the time. Can’t wait ahhh
