Samsung Electronics Canada has announced for the ladies their stylish new CLEO, and just so the Samsung CLEO gains popularity, Samsung has become the official sponsor of the Desperately Different Spring/Summer 2009 fashion line.

General Manager, Wireless Terminal Division, Samsung Electronics Canada, Paul Brannen, says: “Samsung believes in blurring the lines between haute couture and high tech, and with the upcoming launch of CLEO we wanted to partner with a Canadian fashion designer who embodied Samsung’s key characteristics.”

The Samsung CLEO will become available via Canada’s Bell, but the CLEO does seem to look a little awkward however it could easily pass as a ladies make-up compact, and incorporates a 1.3 megapiaxel camera and LCD colour screen.
