Nokia N97 Release Date, Specs and Price
The all new Nokia N97 is being launched in 75 countries simultaneously June 19th in the UK which is good news.
The Nokia N97 smartphone seems like it will be a good little winner here but must say there a few other phones that may still the limelight, for example the Palm Pre and the all new iPhone 2009, nether the less there are millions of Nokia fans out there.
As said above this smartphone will be launched June 19th and will cost (suggested UK retail price) £499, this handset is the most advanced Nokia device to date which features a 3.5-inch touchscreen, Symbian S60 5th generation platform, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, ability to browse through Ovi services, 32GB storage with option of expansion to 48GB using a microSD card. The Nokia N97 will be updated with a number of upgrades with new features and functions; you can order this device over on play.com and will be available on Vodafone for £40 per month on an 18-month contract. All sounds good, just wondering if it is the case as Vodafone are still saying that is out in July, will have to see in the near future I guess.
The launch prompted an i-Phoner spoiler, which should cut that ridiculous price tag. The US pre-order market is more objective in the $250-300 bracket, and some of it’s leaking over here, although most of the UK competitive pricing is actually for sort-of clones.
