RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630: Has this got a chance?

I am sure you are all wondering whether or not the Blackberry Tour 9630 has a chance against the eagerly—anticipated Palm Pre and the recent release of the new Apple iPhone 3GS.

The 9630 Blackberry has all the features from the previous Blackberry Bold, Curve 8900 and Storm combined into 1 device and will be available from Verizon and Sprint later in the summer according to RIM. The Tour features the Bold’s black keys, the Curve 8900’s rounded top and the Blackberry’s trackball and measures 4.4 in by 2.4in by 0.6in and weighs only 5.2 ounces.

Features included are: e-mail, GPS navigation, social networking platforms, 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 compatibility, built—in HPS, video media player and video recording capabilities. Users will also have access to the Blackberry App World store for apps and is being marketed as a high-end world phone designed to run in North America off of the CDMA networks, quad-band EDGE/foreign-band HSPA when roaming internationally.

I think it can compete with the Palm Pre and the new iPhone but they are too slow in releasing the phones. Obviously RIM does not want to release any new BB until they have sorted out any problems.

RIM get a move on!! Europe is waiting!!!

Time for a BlackBerry store PDQ!!!
