Its not earth shattering news and certainly wont knock you off your feet but the Nokia N97 version 12.0.024 firmware update is now available.

The new features include a faster processor, a capacitive display that amazingly sprouts out of the micro USB port and replaces the resistive one. Having said that the N97 firmware update still sounds like a worthwhile download.

The 12.0.024 is claimed to be purely a bug fix, and performance enhancement release, people that have tried the download already confirm just that.
