Nokia phone makers to produce Booklet 3G laptops

Nokia is facing some fierce competition in the mobile phone arena from the likes of RIM’s BlackBerry smartphones and the Apple iPhone, and thus they are now entering another field, the computing arena.

According to an article on the telegraph.co.uk, Nokia has announced their Nokia Booklet 3G which is a 20mm thick 10 inch wide netbook that weights 1.25kg and runs Microsoft Windows OS.

It’s not the first computer Nokia has produced as back in the 80’s Nokia manufactured computers but in 1991 sold the business with a view to concentrating their efforts on mobile phones. But probably due to the global economy Nokia had again decided to enter the laptop realm.
