iPhone officially comes to China Unicom in Q4

Finally, Apple and China get into bed together and go official with China Unicom agreeing on a three year deal to deliver the iPhone to China reports an article on the WSJ.

Apparently Chine Unicom will purchase iPhone handsets wholesale from Apple and offer two differing “3G iPhones” to their huge 141 million subscriber base, and there will be no revenue sharing with Apple on this one.

So far Apple and China Unicom remain tight-lipped over the specifications of the China bound iPhone including whether the iPhone will sport WiFi, and what price the iconic handset will command and will begin selling in Q4.
