Motorola Droid December 7 UK Release Date

The much talked about Motorola Droid which has earned itself some fantastic reviews in the United States, where it is sold as none other than the Motorola Droid is expected to be the latest in a very long line of iPhone killers.

It comes with a 3.7 inch touch screen a slide out QWERTY keyboard a 5 megapixel camera with build in flash and has up to 32GB of storage. Running on Android 2.0 which is indecently the latest version of Google’s Android operating system. The device effectively becomes also a Sat Nav.

Sadly though for all you Motorola fans in the UK, the Motorola Milestone will not be available for some time yet in the high street and is expected to arrive next year. Instead UK consumers have the option of purchasing an unsubsidised handset through online retailer Expansys.

Some experts predict that the lack of high street exposure could well have a harmful impact on the device. Motorola have however defended their decision stating that this move was a direct response to consumer demand. The Milestone is designed to set a new standard in smart phones with superior speed, power and of course features. Source – telegraph.co.uk
