It is very much expected that Apple will unveil its new iSlate table computer towards the end of this month. This will run on iPhone OS 4.0 which will also power future smartphones and handhelds.

The upcoming tablet computer will need some significant changes to the iPhone OS. Including support for at least one more screen resolution.

The iSlate will have a much larger screen of 10.1 inches that’s according to most reports and will therefore need a much higher screen resolution. This is however, not known yet what it will be.
