Philip K Dick Estate to sue over Nexus One
Remember not too long ago a report that the daughter of Philip K Dick was shocked over Google using the Nexus One name which is supposedly take from the author’s novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sleep’ which was later turned into the Blade Runner movie.
Well according to a report on sky news, the Philip K Dick Estate is now to sue Google over the use of the Nexus One name.
Apparently, Philip K Dick’s daughter, Isa Dick Hackett, claims the name is just too similar to the Nexus 6 cyborg name used in her father’s book and the film.
The article also reports that there are reports of the family’s objection have resulted in claims that they are trying to cash in, and Hackett has sent a letter to Google demanding they stop using the Nexus One name due to trademark violation.

for someone whose alleged to be an author, they’ve obviously gone to sleep and has’nt heard of Philip K Dicks’ “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”
