HTC HD2 Smartphone Coming to Virgin Media

The first HTC offering to go to Virgin Media is to be the Windows Mobile HTC HD2 smartphone Virgin Media has announced reports an article over on pocket-lint, and will be offered by Virgin Media as a free handset on contract.

The director of mobile for Virgin Media, Jonathan Kini has stated in a press release, “Its launch kick starts a new range of high-end handsets coming to Virgin Media, perfect for mobile internet, social networking and entertainment on the go”.

The HTC HD2 smartphone packs a 4.3 inch touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, HTC Sense user interface, Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, and microSD expansion.

Virgin Media will offer the HTC HD2 as a free smartphone when customers sign up for a £30 per month, 2 year contract, although other tariffs are available.

    I found this phone to be very buggy. My advice would be to do some research before buying it. Search the web for information on HTC HD2 bugs, and you’ll find pages about it.
