Pharos Science and Applications has unveiled a new rugged device packing Windows Mobile 6.5 and is called the Pharos 565, and is compliant with International Protection Rating IP54, reports an article over on slashgear.

Spec wise the Pharos 565 sports a 3.5 inch QVGA touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Marvell PXA310624 MHz processor, 512MB flash ROM, 256MB SDRAM, and microSD expansion slot, and the complete Office Mobile suite of apps and of course Windows Mobile 6.5.

The Pharos 565 also can withstand drops of four to five feet, has a lithium ion battery, integrated microphone and speaker and includes an AC adapter, andUSB cable.

Price and availability wise, the Pharos 565 handset is available as of right now and commands a price tag of $529.95.
