Apples Steve Jobs in grief following Jerome York’s passing

The Apple board member Jerome York known to close friends and family as Jerry has sadly lost his fight for life. The news has been covered by news.softpedia.com

He had suffered a massive cerebral haemorrhage. Apple removed all products and information from the websites front page and have informed in a very tasteful and respectful way about the very sad event.

Before joining Apple in 1997 Jerome York was the former Chief Executive Officer of IBM and also Chrysler. He was the former second director of Tracinda and was a devoted and also engaged support for both Chrysler and IBM and of course Apple during their harder times.

Apple’s Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs has declared himself to be in grief following York’s passing. Job’s stating that York was a pillar of financial and business expertise and insight on the board for over a dozen years. Born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1938 Jerome York will be sadly missed.
