Sprint announce more 4G markets

Sprint the Wireless carrier have recently announced their intentions to expand the availability of their 4G services to more markets over the coming year, an article over at news.softpedia.com reports.

The plan is to allow some 120 million Americans to benefit from an enhanced mobile internet experience before the end of the year. The company have stated is will deliver the services to additional markets including Los Angeles and Miami during 2010.

There are 27 markets in the United States that already enjoy access to Sprint 4G and soon others will receive it during 2010. Sprint also have said that they intend on offering 4G to major metropolitan areas.

The speeds will be up to 10 times faster than 3G. Sprint is the first national wireless carrier to actually successfully test, launch and market 4G technology. The company also has the intention of bringing to the market a range of 4G devices and will also make available the newly announced HTC EVO 4G the first 4G Smartphone.
