The word is that Dell has signed a deal with Telefonica to deliver their Dell Mini handsets to the operator and although Telefonica probably doesn’t mean a great deal too many outside Spain, Telefonica is the parent company of O2 UK.

This then gives cause for the guys over at pocket-lint to suggest that Dell’s newly announced handsets the Dell Mini 5 and Dell Mini 3i may be heading for the United Kingdom via O2 in the not too distant future.

According to their sources Dell is not planning on launching the Dell Mini 3i “outside the Americas anytime soon,” thus leaving just the Dell Mini 5 left to hit O2 UK stores, although their sources didn’t confirm this.

But as Dell won’t confirm or deny any of the rumours concerning the Dell Mini 5 coming to the UK the guys are taking it means that we Brits will see the Dell Mini 5 sometime soon; more as and when we hear.
